About ewgf.gg

ewgf.gg is a free and open-source tool designed to provide deeper insights into your Tekken 8 gameplay statistics. Built and maintained by @the-beef-calculator, it was inspired by the monthly State of Tekken 8 Reddit posts authored by /u/NotQuiteFactual.

The application works by pulling historical battle data from the Wavu Wiki, storing it, and analyzing the data to present the statistics you see here.

Limitations

• Approximately 6% of players do not have assigned regions. These players are excluded from region-based statistics.
• Global winrates are being polluted using my current methodology due to mirror matchups and cross-category battles being included. This means that if there is a match between a Tekken King and a Fujin, the match outcome is counted towards each categories' winrate. This effect seems to be more pronounced in the Tekken King and above rank categories. I'm working implementing a better way to analyze these battles and exclude both these types of matches.
• Currently, only ranked matches are included in the analysis.
